In a small rural town, well maybe not small, a teenager was arrested for attempting to rip off $37,000 of candy from his local high school.
Now, what he did was order the candy ad try to bill it to his former place of education. He must have missed the day's where they taught moral's and ethics and honesty and ... you get the idea.
Somehow he got a purchasing number from the school to purchase the goodies from the Michigan company called "The Goodies Company". The company got suspicious understandably and called up the school. I would be suspicious to with that amount of product, so they called the cop's who told them to send an empty box. (That's funny....not to mention it must have been one big box.)
They delivered it to his home where he was arrested without incident. He faces two counts of felony telecommunications fraud and is being held on $30,000 bond ... that is a lot of lolli-pops.
Moral of the story: A sweet tooth can be alot more expensive than a dentist visit.
