Today, one of my favorite actresses, I confess I have had a crush for years ;)
So, her biography to start with.
She was born March 22 1976 ... Hey I was born March 29 1972 ..... like you guys care lol. Back to Reese....
She was born in Nashville
She made her film debut in 1991 in the coming-of-age movie The Man in the Moon. She made an immediate impact on critics and audiences alike, netting widespread praise for her portrayal of a tomboy experiencing love for the first time, she was only 14.
She was still in high school she completed two more feature films, Jack the Bear (1993), starring Danny De Vito, as well as Disney's A Far Off Place (1993), for filming she lived in the Kalahari Desert.
She studied English literature at Stanford University and then returned to film as the abused girlfriend of a psychotic Mark Wahlberg in the thriller Fear (1996), one of my favorite Reese flicks.
It wasn't until 1998 that her career began to take off, with roles in two movies. The first, Twilight (not the monster hit movie now in the news), saw her sharing the screen with Gene Hackman, Susan Sarandon, and Paul Newman. The film didn't do very much, but Pleasantville, her other movie role that year, proved to be winning hit. The actress won wide recognition for her leading role as Tobey Maguire's oversexed sister, and this recognition -- along with critical respect -- increased the following year with another leading role. The incredibly funny movie Election. Starring opposite Matthew Broderick, Witherspoon won accalades for her high-strung portrayal of student-council presidential candidate Tracy Flick. Her character stood in stark contrast to the one Witherspoon subsequently portrayed in Cruel Intentions, enough said. I do believe she met her now real life ex-husband in that movie.
She also had roles in American Psycho in 2000Legally Blonde in 2001.
Sweet Home Alabama in 2002.
Vanity Fair in 2004
Just Like Heaven in 2005
Walk the Line also 2005
She is a young starlet but has a lot to offer us still.
Keep a look out for Reese Witherspoon.
