Treasury to rework AIG aid to recoup bonuses -

This beat's all. It shows the utmost disrespect this company has not only for the monetary aid they have been given but also the disrespect they have for the American people.

In case you don't know the story hear it is in short form, sort of;

AIG was part of the USA Multi-Billion dollar bailut and after receiving this money they are attempting to pay out $165 Million dollars in bonuses.

Bonuses?! Please, it proves the immoral and pathetic leadership of this company. They are the poster business for asking for alot and giving nothing back.

Kudo's to President Obama for arguing the point and already beginning the process of fighting these bonuses he (Obama) said in remarks at the White House he was "choked up with anger" over the executive payments, which is a hot button issue in the deepening recession.

My question is simply this:

Why not take the money bank and let them deal with bankruptcy?

The U.S. government is simply going to modify a planned $30 billion capital injection for American International Group Inc to try to recoup hundreds of millions of dollars in controversial bonuses, a spokesperson for the Treasury said on Monday.

Meanwhile, New York's top legal officer vowed to take AIG to court if it did not provide full details of the bonus payments.
