I just got an interesting question from a subscriber. Oh before we go on I hope every one got the email about my contact email changing.Check your emails to see, if you didn't get it or didn't open it let me know via friend connect. I was getting so many forwards and stupid crap that I have changed my contact email. Send everything to me at my new one.
Again if you don't have it send me a message via friend connect. Okay, moving on.
So the question was: What is all of this PM Thingy I keep getting in my email and on my facebook type accounts. How to PM and what is PM and how to PM several messages.
That is a simple question to answer. PM stands for Private Message.
So in essence someone simply wants to talk to you privately. 80 percent of the time there is a little icon with a PM or a pm on it. It is very good to use in forums and groups were there is a lot of members, sometimes we don't want the world to know what our conversation is with other people so we PM them and they PM us back in kind. Easy Peasy...No? ;)
Always remember in forums and groups that if you don't use the PM feature when it is appropriate you may cause problems. People may not understand what your conversation is, or they may just want to start problems. Believe me this can happen, not often but it does happen. So the easy solution is to PM the other person or better yet add them to your MSN or your Yahoo Messenger or even, dare I say it...your ICQ...for those of you who still use that dinosaur, but it still works and that's all that matters.
So there you have it. How to PM is that easy.
