Google Pagerank updates have lots of webmasters worried about how well they will perform with Google. Will their site page rank drop? Will Google love diminish or worse vanish? Cool photo huh ;)So for those of us who know how to treat Google we will never worry about this. Quick point here. In essence Google Page Rank is sort of like a value based on importance and trust.
So what is a great way to treat our site well. Obviously you want to ALWAYS follow Google's Webmaster Tools. This will always keep you up to date on your site.
Not to mention you can get a vast amount of information by signing up for a Google Webmaster Tools account.
Google Analytics alone, which is FREE is worth lots to you because it will help you keep your site running smoothly and within Google's Policies.
A big no no with Google Page Rank is dead links.
The best way to do this is to use a wonderful little tool called Useless Links Checker.
This will help your site by finding and analyzing and identifying any useless links on your site by scanning your sites pages. This service is free, and incredibly fast.
It's very easy go to the site here and enter your URL and hit Detect.
After few second, you will see the results. I hope you have an empty screen :)
If yoe see useless links you need to remove them or fix them up to be properly formatted, a simple trick is to add rel=”nofollow” to the feed links.
If you don’t want to add rel=”nofollow” or remove the useless links, you might want to re-arrange. That way it doesn’t look like a group of paid links.
Keep using the tool until you have a clear screen and Google will show you the love your site deserves.
