Celebrating Father’s Day: A Poem You Can Share.
Good Father’s Day morning, Friend:
James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Celebrating Fatherhood

Come with me my friends and celebrate
The great memories folks have saved.
Of the many ways their father,
The road of life for them paved.
He shared with you by example,
The ways that always should be done.
And as we followed in his footsteps;
The victory we often won.
He loved our mother deeply,
And showed it by his sweeping of the rug.
As well, we saw it in October,
When, the plant bulbs he always dug.
We saw his smoothing of our road,
Because at church he didn’t drop us off.
Instead, he sat right in the fifth row,
Even when he had a little cough.
Father has gone on to heaven,
But we thank God we have his name.
He lived his life as best he could,
And we have chose to do the same.
Dad, is your child on a rocky road,
If so, I suggest you get a rake.
Please pull the rocks out of the way;
Then a straight path you’ll help to make.
Until tomorrow:
