An open letter to City Hall
I smoke and as a smoker I have been lobbying and complaining for years about a certain issue and now I have a great piece of proof to back me up. Keep reading, I'll get to it in a minute.
As a smoker I can no longer smoke in any bar or restaurant in town, and now there is a new by-law being voted on to remove smoking from public parks.
That's genius...it's a wide open space but you can't smoke there! Give me a break. Seriously. Imagine going to Gillies Lake and trying to enforce that, imagine the amount of people who will no longer support events for local charities at Gillies or Hollinger...or anywhere else because they can't smoke there.
If I can't go to an event and have a cigarette....then why would I bother giving any money to something that I can't enjoy being a part of?
On to the issue I was speaking of. A few weeks back myself and some friends were having lunch at a local restaurant and we had to ask the server to move us because we couldn't stand the stench coming from the table next to us. A woman had so much perfume on she smelled like a 3 dollar (fill in the blank) and one of my friends is highly allergic to perfume.
In Fort Worth Texas toxic fumes had sickened almost 150 people at a bank call center. Officials thought it was carbon monoxide.
34 people were taken to hospitals, at least 12 were transported by ambulance, because they were feeling dizzy and having breathing problems.
Was it smoke? Nope.
So what was this toxic fume...it was perfume.
Never, ever has a cigarette sent that many people to hospital after being lit. NEVER.
This worker sprayed the perfume once and bang, major issue. 110 people were treated on sight.
So if we are going to continuously ban smoking then it is obviously time to ban perfume's as well.
Some people don't like the smell of smoke or are allergic to it and I understand that and respect it. You can't even smoke in our house because of the kids. Well, guess what...some folks are allergic to perfume or don't like the smell of it either.
So City Hall...let's take a vote on banning perfume from restaurants and bars and parks also shall we?
It's only fair to those folks out there who are allergic to it or simply don't like the smell isn't it?

What a Great Way to Get Married - Best Wedding Entrance Ever!...You need to watch it
These crazy kids these days ;) I watched this earlier and then I watched it again. It seriously brought tear's to my eyes. Not tear's of sadness but tear's of how much fun these kids will have in their lives together, especially after a marriage entrance like this.
It is so nice to see young love but it is nicer to see this kind of fun. What's the old saying "Couples who play together stay together..."
If that is real for these two then they are going to have a wonderful life.
I wish them both (Jill and Kevin) the best their future holds and I don't even know them.

That's right Antonio you have won a great couple of prizes. The first one is having your felony probation revoked and you may possibly face a prison term.
Why on Earth would someone try to impersonate a cop? If that isn't bad enough he get's extra points for outfitting his Ford Crown Victoria with flashing lights, microphone and speakers...he then proceeded to pull over a car...(with the intent I assume of stealing it, he is a convicted car thief after all)...Surprise was waiting for young Antonio when the joke was on him. He pulled over an unmarked police car with a police officer inside!
Well done young man, well done.
It is always nice to see these moron's go to jail for a crime they almost committed....how proud your mom and dad must be.
I know times are tough people but be parent's for Christ sake. Teach your kids some value's and do whatever it takes to make sure they are great kids. Children reflect their parents.
If my child did this I would tell the judge to lock 'em up and throw away the key.

It can be anything from DVDs that I no longer watch, used books, jewelry, clothes, CDs, or whatever else I think people will buy. This could be a good way to earn money now — and clear out some of the clutter in my house at the same time!
Another terrific way to earn money now is by taking paid online surveys. This used to be a time-consuming pursuit, but in recent years, a couple of good websites have sprung up to make the process a lot easier. These sites aggregate all the paid survey offers in one central location and serve as an intermediary for payouts. So instead of getting tons of checks for tiny amounts like $3 or $4, I can keep taking surveys until I accumulate $15 or $25 before requesting a check.
And finally, creating a website or blog can also help me earn money now. I can start a website or blog on just about any topic that suits my fancy, such as sports, knitting, stamp collecting, or photography. I can even start a fan page for my favorite celebrity or simply recount the daily happenings in my life. The topic really doesn’t matter. Once I get my website or blog up and running, I can then place Google AdSense on the site to make cash whenever a visitor clicks the ads. Or, I can sign up with a paid blogging service and generate extra income by promoting various businesses and services.
I’m encouraged by all these easy ways to earn money now. I can start doing all of these things immediately without spending much up front, and should see results relatively quickly. I doubt that any of the activities I’ve talked about would be able to sustain my lifestyle without the help of a “real” job, but they should work as short-term aids.

A Narcissist Knows How to Manipulate Better than Anyone

In my experience, a narcissist eventually becomes sarcastic and belittles you constantly. You begin to feel you can do nothing right in his eyes and your presence is hardly tolerable. You're baffled. You wonder what you did wrong to cause such a drastic change in his feelings toward you. You struggle desperately to return things to the way they were in the beginning. Unfortunately, as hard as you try, things will never be the same again. This is because everything he did in the beginning was an act to secure your love, nothing more. It is a maddening and precarious way to live. It can drive anyone to the edge of their sanity.
When I did take any real steps at ending either relationship, if verbally abusive behavior did not work to force me into submission, the false self would be the next weapon of defense in their artillery. I think a narcissist believes if his false self worked once to win you over, it will work again to keep you around or win you back.
At this point he will lay on the charm. A narcissist knows when to charm and is sure to remind you that he understands you like no one else can or ever will. It is essential for a narcissist to make you believe only he can understand you. By constantly telling you that you have problems and quirks only he can understand, you start to believe him and begin to feel unlovable in some strange paranoid way.
By telling you he loves you despite your flaws, he hopes you will grow dependent on him. This is a narcissist's way to ensure you will never leave him. It is narcissistic manipulation at its finest.
When a narcissist feels he is in control of you and is not threatened by any fear that you will ask for too much from him or leave the relationship, he will engage in escapist activity and appear as if he hardly notices you exist the majority of the time. You are merely present to dispense secondary Narcissistic Supply (i.e. attention) should his primary NS fail to meet his needs for the day.
This is when we must remember we did nothing wrong. It is all about him, ladies. A narcissist will simply discard people when he becomes convinced that they can no longer provide him with sufficient Narcissistic Supply. Keep in mind, this evaluation of his is totally subjective and not grounded in reality at all. These men are delusional and you musn't forget that. Suddenly because of boredom, a disagreement, an act or a failure to act, the narcissist swings from total idealization to complete devaluation.
He then disconnects from you immediately. He needs to preserve all of his energy in order to obtain and secure new sources of Narcissistic Supply and sees no need to spend any of his precious time on you, whom he now considers useless. But please remember, he will repeat this same cycle with his new source of narcissistic supply. It is inevitable. Be grateful this toxic man is out of your life and never let him back in.

Internet Network Marketing - Why You Need A Website

It’s obvious that if you don’t have a website then it’s going to be pretty tough to do business online. And I’m going to briefly tell you why the company provided website will never work to build your business online.
The company provided website is useful as a tool to educate your prospects once you have already captured their information and they are in your campaign. That’s about it. The reason why you need your own website is because you HAVE to position yourself as different from everyone else. Otherwise, what reasons do people have to join you?
Remember the reasons why people would join you in your business? How different are you if you go and enter your name in a form to get the same website everyone else and their uncle has? You’re not very different. Furthermore, those websites are not capture pages. They do not generate leads. Make no mistake, the most important thing to grow and expand your business is to constantly be generating new leads. Endless leads means endless business growth. When you discover how you can create endless leads at will, you created a system that will produce you endless money at will.
Hands down, that is the essence of what network marketing is about. It’s all about the leads. So the reason why most company specific pages don’t work is because:
1. They are terrible at generating leads. They have poor lead conversion rates.
2. They are mass duplicated systems, meaning everyone knows they are basically going to get the same thing. They are going to opt in and get the same boring emails about the company’s financial history, the market trends, and the same stuff they hear from every other company.
3. The auto responder system set up on those pages will not suffice to do the job we need to get done. Plus the page is not capturing leads anyway, and I would never spend my hard earned money to send people to my website if the website was only a fraction as productive as one I could build myself.
Hence the reason you need to create your own website.
Now there are two different versions of websites that you can create for our purposes of capturing leads on the internet. I am going to cover them both and tell you what situations you want to use them both in.
1. A squeeze page. A squeeze page is a website that is 100% created with the purpose of doing nothing other then capturing a lead. It is meant to squeeze a person’s information in the quickest and most effective way possible. Squeeze pages are well oiled funnels that lead a person directly to the desired action you want them to take. In this case, it is leaving their contact information in exchange for the information they want from you.
2. A content page. A content page is more like your typical full blown website. A content page is generally less productive at converting leads, but very useful for many reasons none the less. In particular when it comes to generating a certain type of traffic which I will be talking about later on. Not only that but you can load your content page with all sorts of ways to capture people’s emails and generate opt ins. Once you have the traffic…the possibilities are endless.
In order to do internet network marketing successful I suggest you personally create both of these different types of websites. Your priority however, is absolutely on a squeeze page.
If you just had a squeeze page, you could still get by A LOT better, but a full blown content website comes in very handy on the back end of your campaign. A content website is essential for one other task, and that is Search Engine Optimization. Search Engine Optimization is a term that stands for your website being ranked highly in the major search engines. Since search engines are getting very competitive now a days, the only way sites get ranked very highly at all is by having LOTS of relevant and targeted information.
A squeeze page would never do it. So if you want to take total advantage of the internet to build a network marketing organization, I recommend tackling both of these website projects and utilizing all of it to its fullest potential.
