Two major issues going on in Canada this week or seriously pissing me off. I am not going to sugar coat this in any way shape or form. Chances are I may even make a few enemies for this post. I don't really care.
I don't care because I am a full supporter of all things Canadian. I have the Canadian Flag proudly tattooed on my arm, spent time in reserves and reg force, wanted to become a cop, own a business and regularly donate to Canadian charities...so don't ever question my allegiance to this great country. Let's get started shall we?
First problem was with the Throne Speech earlier this week. Yesterday actually.
It seems that with the world economy crashing and all of the hardship folks are facing, the government has decided to take the focus off of real problems in a very sneaky way.
Right now Canadians (and most of North America) are worried about real issues:
Jobs - There are very few to be found.
Livelihood - Will I lose my house? (I am not in this situation, but sadly I have friends who are)
My Future - Will my family be okay?
Etc, etc.
Let's not even go into global warming or other environmental issues. The government has no real plan on how to deal with these issues, oh sure they have made a few "promises" like wage freezes for MPP's and they have said they will do this and that. No real issue's were given any clear mandate...at least not the Throne Speech I watched. What they did do was spark a huge debate to trick Canadians to get off of the real issues and have them start debating OUR National Anthem.
Yup, in times of serious issues and real problems the government threw us a loop. I can see it now, a closed door meeting of the big boys and gals trying to figure out how to get the focus off of what matters financially and spark a debate.
"I know...I know...pick me, pick me....!!"
Let's tell Canada that we are changing the words to the National Anthem. WHAT!!It seems the line "In all thy son's command" is sexist. Give me a friggin break. Whatever shall we change it to? "In all thy whiny kids command"
The first words of the Canadian National Anthem are:
"O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command."
Well if we are gonna change the words let's change the whole damn thing. I am not Native, but I am a native of Canada....see the fine line here? Natives however are responsible for some of the most beautiful art work in Canadian History so they definitely deserve recognition.So let's change it to something more appropriate like:
"O Canada!
Our home and immigrant filled land!
True patriot love in all thy whiny kids command."
Now that brings me to my second problem. Quebec has an issue with a female student wearing her "nibaq" - a Nibaq is a face veil covering the lower part of the face (up to the eyes) worn by observant Muslim women.I agree with the student being expelled for this. Sorry folks, we are in a major war with terrorists and she wonders why she got expelled? If I can't see your face, don't even bother coming to my shop because I will toss you out as soon as you walk in. How the Hell do I know who you are?
I don't know what you look like. I can't identify you if you are a terrorist or a thief etc, etc.
Look folks, I have lived all over Ontario and a few places in Quebec so I am no stranger to these types of immigrants. For the most part every immigrant I know is a rock solid citizen who truly appreciates the life Canada has given them but they don't show their thanks.
If you want to move here then live by OUR rules and OUR laws. Period end of story.
Hell, try going to France with a face veil, the security puts you back on the plane home if you don't remove it.
Don't even bother trying to go to Australia .... not with their rules.
Canada must go back to being the once proud Nation we used to be. We are accomodating these people to the point that we are losing our heritage and our way of life.
It's very simple.
Come to Canada with a dream.
Come to Canada to escape religious issues.
Come to Canada to have a better life.
But once you get here be prepared to live by our laws and our rules otherwise GO HOME.
To better prove my point I will leave you with the greatest patriotic speech by a world leader I have ever read.

Canada and Canadians must be very proud of our Canadian National Anthem, and must ignore those undesirable so called immigrants who entered Canada in order to change our Canadian National Anthem to their liking,and turn this Country around to suit their purpose of doing such thing, they're also

I agree with you, this country shall not become what is happening all over Europe, even Sweden--Muslims are changing Europe through mass immigration and violence -especially toward Jews. It is nothing short of Nazi land in some of these countries-Jews are attacked and and demands for Sharia Law are starting to hit Canada too. I agree with you!!!
Hi there. I read what you wrote and you are right on the money!! Immigrants especially Muslims have invaded many European countries and with them comes violent anti-semitism
This is happening in Sweden, Britain and all over Europe as country after country falls to the Muslims.
Check out the story of GEERT WILDERS from the Netherlands. He supports Israel and is anti-immigration because his own country is now being taken over by "politically correct" immigration and violent Muslims. Soon most of Europe will be Muslim countries who may find us Canadians as an enemy --we have so far as I am aware not allowed Sharia Law, which is now being enforced in some of these European countries.
We MUST "STAND ON GUARD" for Canada. Long Live a Free Christian Canada, OUR nation.

I always loved your national Anthem, why do they have to f*&^ with it? As you stated so plainly, there are so many more pressing issues then words of a song. Glad your government is as screwed up as ours :-) Brother!!!
Glen, both our nations are soo messed up right now it ain't funny....update however is that the government took so much heat about the words being changed that in less than 48 hours they decided against it. Christ, let's feed our hungry and help real issues.
Canada and the US should merge....MAN what a powerhouse we would be then!
I think your post should be done AGAIN. It is right on. There is a secret jihad going on and it must be Stopped/ They are pretending to settle in and then they take over our corner stores, our taxis, out trucking and where do they get the money to do it??? Mosques/imams and wealthy tribes from the middle east.
